Volunteer Opportunities at Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston:

Deliver a Kid's Meals sack lunch to hungry children ages 2-6.
Kid's Meals ensures that over 700 low-income, preschool children receive lunch each Monday - Friday. Volunteers commit to at least 2 hours per month on a weekday morning of their choosing.

Deliver groceries each month to low-income seniors through IM's Food For Seniors project.
Food For Seniors provides over 1500 low-income seniors with a box of non-perishable groceries on the third week of each month. Volunteers commit to 2-4 hours during the third week of each month.

Coordinate your community of faith to sponsor a refugee family.
IM works with sponsors to provide basic needs for refugee families, such as clothing, furniture and encouragement. Refugees are granted status by the U.S. government based on their persecution or a well founded fear of persecution on account of race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group or political opinion.

For more information or to volunteer, contact: Catherine Barry, IM Manager of Volunteer Services at 713-533-4922 or cbarry@imgh.org. Volunteers must complete an application and orientation. Volunteer applications can be requested or found online at www.imgh.org.
